Our promises
What you can hold us to
You own everything, in writing.
Code, designs, domain and logins are yours, and the contract says so.
You see progress every week.
No silence after the deposit.
You pay in milestones.
Never 100% upfront. M-Pesa or bank transfer.
Every payment invoiced.
An invoice and a receipt for each payment, ready for your accounts.
We tell you before it breaks.
If a website we host or maintain needs a security update, you hear it from us first.
Two names, one phone number.
You always know who you're talking to.
Our first act
Ten free hosting spaces, five years each
Gaby was given ten WordPress hosting spaces on Pressable for taking part in a WordPress community event. We're giving them to ten registered Kenyan non-profits. Hosting is free for five years. Maintenance is separate, and never a condition.
10 of 10 spaces available
- 5 GB storage and 15,000 monthly visits per website
- Free for five years
- Your domain and website stay yours
About us
Two people. You'll know both.
We started Harakati Fikra together to build useful things, in Kenya and beyond. Maureen is Kenyan and works from Kenya; Gaby is Lebanese and works from Lebanon. Wherever we are, the same two people answer your messages, design your screens and write your code.
